The Research Seminar, taught by the Director of the UC Berkeley Washington Program, Dr. Michael L. Goldstein, is a 10.5 unit course designed to guide the student through the process of thinking systematically about a topic and writing a research-based paper that reflects this approach. It is also a vehicle for many of the program's guest speakers. The syllabus for the Spring 2008 Research Seminar is here. The Research Semiar also relates to many of the program's guest speakers, special events and other activities. The spring 2008 calendar reflects this. |
